Welcome to Rock Imaging Special Interest Group

Over the last five years, the Rock Imaging SIG's annual meeting has attracted nearly 200 speakers, each of whom has contributed to the growing success of this distinctive event. The last two editions have been held in the wonderful surroundings of the Geological Society in London. Here we are at the Geological Society in London in 2024 and 2025:

The next event, in April 2026 will find us in Glasgow, home to one of the oldest universities in the UK. Here the group will meet again to discuss what's new in the field of rock imaging and image processing, hearing no doubt from some old hands and hopefully some new players bringing fresh ideas and techniques, presenting their innovations to an audience eager to learn what's new.
